WP Remote has finally been acquired — by Maekit. It seems a good fit for Maekit, who has robust plans for the future of WP Remote.
I’ve followed and covered WP Remote as long as it has existed. It’s a pretty wonderful tool and has remained a super useful utility even while in maintenance mode by Human Made. I’m glad it has a new home.
Human Made didn’t sell WP Remote for much and may have lost money if you consider billable hours spent to sell and transfer it. They mostly wanted it to be able to live on and serve site owners.
