The folks at Modern Tribe have created a nice little demo of their Events Calendar Pro plugin, with a helpful twist. WP Shindig is a community calendar of all WordPress events across the world, that happens to use their plugin. This is a clever way to showcase what’s happening in the WordPress community, and simultaneously showcase their product.

The only thing I hate about this is how many times I clicked on a really cool event only to say “aww, dang, it’s 2000 miles away…”
oh I’m totally with you sabreuse. The next version (couple months) will have geolocation search and distance filtering.
