🔌 A few plugins appeared on my radar this week, and if you weren’t aware of their existence either, they’re worth a look:
- Content embedded from external sites such as YouTube or Twitter is loaded immediately when visitors access your site. Embed Privacy addresses this privacy and performance issue and prevents loading external content from loading until site visitors approve this.
- A new version of TaxoPress is out — a great tool chest for managing WordPress taxonomies.
- SharectWP is a lightweight script and WordPress plugin to let users share text selections to social networks in desktop browsers, just as you can on Medium.
- A plugin from Alex Cooper informs you of Core, Plugin, and Theme updates through one or more Slack channels.
