Admin Columns Pro has released version 4 of their tool to improve the, well, admin columns of the WordPress backend. I use the free version of this plugin on Post Status and it’s very handy for doing the kind of things that usually take a just-annoying-enough amount of code.
Including taxonomies, images, meta data, or pretty much whatever you can think of in the admin area is simple with this plugin, and it lets you remove a bunch of stuff easily too. It’s a really nice product and there are several pro features worth considering, including integrations with popular plugins. I’d especially be into this plugin if I were doing a lot of client work still, because it helps improve the overall UX of WordPress administration quite quickly.
Tom McFarlin has a more thorough overview of the plugin if you’re interested.
