Cloud.gov launching as a platform-as-a-service (PaaS) for the US government. It uses open source API and tools for teams to handle “environments, services, applications, access points, and billing structures”. I’m always intrigued and usually excited when modern solutions like this come out of the government sector (meanwhile, at least one area of the government still uses 8-inch floppy disks).
