I don’t think I’ve ever really tracked my own time for blogging, but the content guy at Buffer did, and he broke his process down to a very granular level.
It turns out, his average Buffer post takes about three hours. It’s broken down like this:
For anyone looking to beef up their blog, this is probably a decent metric to use. Although, if you go less in-depth, I think you can cut that time in half. Also, don’t expect your early posts to be as easy; it gets better over time.
