In the next major version of WooCommerce, the WooCommerce REST API will be taking up the infrastructure of the WordPress REST API as a base, and some changes are being made that you should be aware of if you utilize it. The old API will be available for several major releases, but I love seeing another huge project stretching its legs with the core API infrastructure that was introduced in WordPress 4.4.
