Member Spotlight: Nathalie Lussier

Nathalie Lussier is an award-winning entrepreneur who has been making web sites since she was 12 years old. She graduated with a degree in Software Engineering and a job offer from Wall Street, but she turned down this job to start her own business right out of college. As the founder of AccessAlly, the powerful digital course and membership solution for industry leaders, she believes that access to education can help defy stereotypes and make the world a better place, while providing a sustainable livelihood for enterprising teachers. Nathalie has been featured in Forbes, Inc., Fast Company, Success Magazine, Entrepreneur, Venture Beat, and Mashable.

What do you enjoy most about working in WordPress?

I love that we can create anything we can imagine, because of the WordPress ecosystem and platform. It gives us and our clients so much freedom and flexibility, and it has helped so many people carve out very fulfilling careers.

What do you love most about your Post Status membership?

I love that I get to connect with people from different parts of the world and WordPress ecosystem. Everyone has a great perspective and unique personality, and that helps me better understand what’s happening in WordPress and beyond. I also think it’s a very welcoming and informative place for new WordPress creators, and established alike.

What business/web/WordPress advice do you have for others in our industry?

Listen to your customers, and use their feedback to inform your decisions. You might think you know what they want or need, but the further away you are from using your products yourself the more you need to listen to your clients to develop the solutions they really want.
