Tiffany Bridge is a local rabble-rouser, a damn good cook, and the first person you call when your friend moves to town. Oh yeah, and a product manager for Nexcess/Liquid Web. She lives in Washington, DC, with her spouse, child, and elderly cat.
What do you enjoy most about working in WordPress?
The appeal of WordPress to me was always that it is a tool anyone can use to create marvelous things without having to be a developer. It has always felt very powerful to me. I love working in WordPress because I get to spread that feeling of power to others.
What do you love most about your Post Status membership?
I love having a business-focused community to hang out in. I love overhearing what’s on the minds of WordPress-focused business owners. I love being able to gossip in Slack with those same folks. It’s a great source of ambient insight for my work as a product manager at a web host, but also overall really informative as I make decisions about my personal projects and my career.
What business/web/WordPress advice do you have for others in our industry?
The WordPress ecosystem runs on relationships. Yes, it’s important to have a good product or service, but your business profile will live or die based on the relationships you build and maintain. That means personal relationships, support relationships, partner relationships. Attend to that stuff just as carefully as you attend to your actual product.
