Post Status changed its membership structure and pricing this year. That’s not news if you’ve been getting our newsletter or visiting our website lately. But here are all the details for each plan laid out together. If you have questions about anything, please send them to us.
Our goal is to keep growing Post Status as a diverse and inclusive community. We’re open to everyone working in the WordPress space. We’ve updated our membership types to reflect the composition of our existing member community. It also reflects the larger community of people who work professionally with WordPress.
Professionals
Our base membership now is the Professional+ ($197/year) membership which gets access to Post Status Slack, Weekly Member Huddles, as well as members-only content in Slack, on our website, and in the weekly Post Status newsletter.
All existing regular members now have Professional+ memberships. We hope you’ll renew at that rate to keep Post Status moving forward. We hope you agree it’s the best place for WordPress professionals to connect, share, and grow together.
The weekly newsletter remains free to all subscribers, but we’re going to consider all newsletter-only subscribers Professional members now. If that’s you, we’re going to try really hard to win you over as a Pro+ member with Slack access. We don’t want to turn anyone away because of financial limitations, however. We’ll continue to offer a free Professional+ membership year to members of Underrepresented in Tech. We are also extending this offer to students or anyone for whom the $197/year Pro+ fee is a hardship.
Agency Owners
Next, we have a membership for anyone who owns or operates a WordPress-related digital service business. We want to help agency owners stay connected to the WordPress ecosystem and hire the best people. That’s why this membership ($500/year) offers unlimited job listings on the Post Status Job Board. It also comes with an agency listing in the Post Status Index, and access to a private agency owner channel in Post Status Slack. Agency owners will also be invited and given discounts to Post Status Business Events. These extras extend the Pro+ membership each agency owner holds.
What is the Post Status Index? We will soon be launching this new business directory. It goes far beyond our old organization directory.
Founders and Product Owners
Finally, we’ve created an additional $500/year membership for founders and owners of WordPress product and service businesses. It’s aimed at helping these members build and develop great relationships with their peers — other founders and owners. The best way to grow your businesses is together.
Founders get access and discounts to Post Status Business Events, unlimited job listings on the Post Status Job Board, and a product listing in the Post Status Index. There’s also a private Post Status Slack channel for founders. Founders also hold a Professional+ membership.
That’s it for our new membership options. Please do contact us if you have questions. And if you’re in a position to become a Post Status Partner or Global Sponsor, we’d love to talk about those opportunities for you.
