On June 21st the US Supreme Court has ruled that online sellers must collect state sales taxes on consumer purchases, which will effect every business that sells on the web in the United States. This will likely impact small businesses more, as some who haven’t been required to charge tax must now start implementing this on their sites and ecommerce stores.
