Riad Benguella recently announced on the WordPress.com developer blog the launch of the Open Source WordPress API console. This is an application that allows you to make read and write requests to the WordPress.com API or the WordPress REST API for any site on WordPress.com or using Jetpack. It’s also possible to use this with your self-hosted WordPress installs.
