Scott Arciszewski wrote a post about how WordPress.org handles auto update signatures that had several good points, but it was written with ridiculously bad delivery. It was full of unnecessary assumptions, ridicule, and even an attempt to shame Matt Mullenweg with a hashtag. Come on.
The post was taken down but it’s on archive.org.
Anyway, the awful delivery aside, Matt responded, and I really appreciate what he had to say. He responded on Medium, because that’s where Scott initially blogged about it, plus he says he wanted to try it.
