Taylor Lovett posted on the 10up blog the release of WP Docker, an open source Docker configuration optimized for local WordPress development. WP Docker is meant to address shortcomings of running multiple VVV and Vagrant instances while providing greater flexibility in environment creation and distribution.
WP Docker includes support for PHP7, MariaDB, NGINX, Elasticsearch, Gearman, and Memcached.
