The first WordPress conferences of 2018 will soon be upon us. Two to point out:
LoopConf is happening from February 21 to 24 with a solid speaker lineup. It’s back in the same venue at Salt Lake City, Utah. If you’re a WordPress developer, or if you want to mingle with some, this event provides an excellent opportunity. Tickets are still on sale.
WordCamp Miami is celebrating its 10th anniversary from March 16-18. New this year: a Gutenberg developer workshop, an improved business track, the third year of Learn JavaScript Deeply, and an eCommerce workshop that provides attendees with their own WordPress installation containing pre-installed plugins and tools! Tickets are on sale now. Act quickly; they sell out every year.
It’s hard to imagine WordCamps have been running for 10 consecutive years — and with some organizers staying on for all those years. I remember when WordCamps were few and literally far between. Kudos to all the speakers, volunteers, and organizers over the years who continue to support WordCamps and independent conferences. Our community is stronger for it.
