In a bit of a surprise move, Envato is getting into the video mobile app space. With a clever video app that nicely highlights their VideoHive market, the new Envato Video app allows people to create simple marketing videos, straight from iOS.
I love the idea, and it’s an excellent integration into their existing business lines. I could definitely see this catching on with small shop owners seeking to make short and simple videos that set them apart.

PS: The Envato newspaper in the first demo video makes me really want to do a Post Status paper edition, just for fun. And that Santa is perfection.
